Glass

This is a piece that was my grandmother’s. As a child I was fascinated with how the deer was etched into the glass. It now resides in my hutch in the dining room. It is signed “Kosta Vicke Lindstrand”.  I took this image inside with natural light (no flash) and a tripod.

I think that is a lovely piece and you did a wonderful job capturing the details in the glass. I love natural light – it radiates warmth and life.

This is a work of art by a noted artist for Kosta Glass in Sweden. I love works in glass, too, and especially like Swedish products (my DH is Swedish).

Getting details in glass is very difficult and you did an outstanding job here. It is a great image.

Wonderful glasswork. Beautiful job producing this photo. I’ve tried several times to photograph glass, and it’s an huge challenge.

I can see how this piece captivated you as a child. You’ve done it justice with that background that complements it so well as shows off its details.
