Moulton Barn

We (this includes my husband and my teenage son)  just came back from Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park where we had a great time. It is goes without saying that I took more then a few pictures. I will be posting some of them as I go through and process them.

This is the iconic Moulton Barn in an area called Antelope Flats. The background is the Grand Teton mountains. Not too shabby.  Per Country Magazine it is  “The Most Photographed Barn in America.” The above image is my take on the old barn.

Here I applied a sketch effect to the image using the Smart Blur filter.

Depth of Field
Emptiness
Extreme Close-up
Faces
Fancy

Ground Level
In Shadow
Lacy
Mixed
Primary Colors
Rough
Strange

Isn’t that area just stunning?? We would love to get back to the Tetons someday, after spending all our time in Yellowstone we didn’t leave enough time for the Tetons!

This is one gorgeous image…that barn w/ the mountains in the background is just beautiful…I like your sketch effect, but it doesn’t compare to the beauty of the first image!

Although Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons are different in so many ways, they are both amazing. I kind of wish I had discovered them years ago. It is a wonderful place to visit.

I agree – I prefer the original image. Thanks for your comments.

great old barn with interesting shape and the mountains in the back looks like scenery of it own. I would not mind being there…..

That is a stunning image Deena, I agree with Ron, the barn has that HDR look to it.
