Solitary II

I took this when were at the Brink of the Upper Falls in the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone (an awesome place). The foggy like background was from mist from the falls in the early morning. This bird was just sitting there minding his own business.

There is no where like that area…so many unique landscapes to capture…that mist was an excellent background to this bird…just beautiful!

This image really speaks to me! The fog helps create a sense of mystery and it also disguises the scale a little to make us wonder if that bird is unusually large. Great shot!

Wow! The colors and texture in the rock are spectacular against that light-filled mist. The bird just makes the photo.

Really nice! Love the colors in the rock, the solitary bird and the fog. Each element really adds up to one nice photo.
